Fits: 79-93 with some Mods to give your sled that updated look. 94-98 RMK, 88-98 SKS, 92-98 XCR & XC, 93-95 Ultra & Storm, 93-96 XLT, '88-'98 indy models. All standard indy sleds."square jaw,"recessed headlight, and nose cone.This hood weighs 7lbs. It accepts your headlight & gauge pod, stock windshield & hinge mounts, also stock air box. This hood was the first BR Tech hood redesign with performance in mind. It has only 4 vents in the front eliminating the bottom 2 for better pipe clearance & due to the fact that with 4 vents there was more than adequate air flow in the Indy engine compartment. As you will see Polaris then redesigned the GenII with only 4 vents. We eliminated the vents for the fan cooled engine on the left clutch side as there is more than adequate air flow with the vent cut out for the clutch. All of the corners of the vents on this hood have been radiused for better performance and durability. In the handle bar post area we increased this area to 1in. for more durability. This hood has been our #1 seller since 1993.
