Fits: all yamahas with dual-beam headlight including '01 SX 700R,'01 V-Max 700, Moutain Max 700,and Venture, Mountain Max, '03 V-Max/SX600 R. This hood was designed for Yamaha factory snowcross. This hood weighs 7lbs. and has 3ins. more of front pipe clearance. As Yamaha factory snowcross used a large 800cc engine in their race sleds. Nathan Titus used this hood design to win pro-open in 1998. This hood design is the start of our ultra-light series cowel's. This hood has a windshield and headlight built into it's design. This is the ultimate hood to make your SX chassis as light as it can be. It will save you 20lbs. off the front of your SX sled where you need it most.
